Long Live the Beach!

Boca Save our Beaches is delighted to announce the launch of an outstanding partnership with Oceanside Beach Services (http://beachservice.com/), Southeast Florida’s luxury chair and umbrella rental service on the beach.

Boca Save our Beaches received generous beach cleanup donations of pickup sticks from Unger Enterprises (https://usa.ungerglobal.com/) and collapsible buckets from Ultimate Survival Technologies (http://www.ustbrands.com/). These beach cleanup supplies are now available for public use, thanks to Oceanside Beach Services who houses them on the shore. Beach cleanup supplies are available at each Oceanside Beach Services rental booth, located at Spanish River Park, Red Reef Park and under the pavilion at South Beach Park.

Together, as a community, we can work together to greatly reduce pollution in the water while creating cleaner beaches and educating the public on the effects of litter. This partnership is the first of its kind and wouldn’t be possible without the full support of many people and organizations. Boca Save our Beaches would like to thank Oceanside Beach Services, Unger Enterprises, Ultimate Survival Technologies, the Boca Raton Beach and Parks Department and the Boca Raton City Council, especially Councilwoman Andrea O’Rourke. This team has truly delivered for the City of Boca Raton, and we are grateful to have your support.

We ask that on your next visit to our beautiful beaches in Boca Raton, you stop by Oceanside Beach Services, borrow our cleanup supplies and lend a hand to nature. Remember, leave it better than you found it.

  1. I am an avid beach cleaner so when I walk on the beach, this is a great way to supply me with tools to clean up!
I walk South Park beach from Deerfield to the Boca Inlet so if you can put some at the lifeguard stations down there that would be wonderful!
My daughter and I walked after the hurricane and there weren’t any bags at the stations ( when they should have been replenished immediately, only takes a minute ) so the bags we had were overflowing. Disposable gloves would be nice as well.
I am very interested in helping in any way I can!

  2. Thank you David Sergi for a wonderful idea. Even more than that was your dedication to follow through with your vision. I am proud to be a part of this project, even in a small way. This is how we “build our future together” and continue to enhance our quality of life in Boca Raton.
