Benita Goldstein hails from the Big Apple and fondly refers to her home in downtown Delray Beach similar to living in a toned down neighborhood of her former place. Her inspiration to write for BocaWatch came out of her love for Delray where she opened the first bed and breakfast in 2011. However as time went on Benita found the issues of runaway sober homes and real estate developers anathema to the Village by the Sea. As she says, "becoming a Citizen Activist was an organic experience." Aligning herself with residents from Delray and a few likeminded people from Boca she believes together we can make a difference solving issues that plague us both.
