Boca Raton is exactly 5 months from the next municipal election. Two City Council seats are up this cycle. These seats are currently held by Deputy Mayor Rodgers and City Councilman Weinroth. Both Mr. Rodgers and Mr. Weinroth have officially declared their candidacy for reelection. To date, no other candidates have announced. BocaWatch will be following these election races closely and bringing you, the voter, analysis of the candidate and commentary on the ‘resident friendly’ aspects of their campaigns. BocaWatch will also report on the platforms of any other individual that may announce their intent to enter the race. Below is the official announcement and kick-off of Deputy Mayor Rodgers campaign. BocaWatch is publishing this as a courtesy to the candidate and an announcement to the voting community at large. Councilman Weinroth had his official kick-off last week. BocaWatch did not announce this because, Mr. Weinroth did not provide the event notice and did not extend an invitation for BocaWatch to attend. Stay tuned….more to follow and Remember…Your vote is your voice, let your voice be heard in March.
A announcement to the residents from Deputy Mayor and Candidate for re-election Jeremy Rodgers….

It has been a truly humbling and honoring experience to serve you on city council these last 2 and a half years. I look forward to earning YOUR vote as the residents’ choice in the upcoming election on March 13th.
